Show "A la Bonne heure" de Stéphane Bern
Lambert Wilson, guest of Stéphane Bern in his show "à la bonne heure" on RTL radio, was kind enough to recall the beauty of the renaissance castles in Burgundy and more particularly the charm of
Château de Tanlay .
Residence of the Coligny family and Protestant stronghold during the Wars of Religion, the castle houses a fascinating 16th century fresco.
Representing the main figures of the Court of Henry II and Catherine de Medici, this fortress was transformed into a Renaissance castle by the architect Le Muet who embellished it by digging wide moats around a beautiful courtyard of honour.
